Rabbits need UNLIMITED hay! It’s the most important part of the their diet, 80% actually! If rabbits don’t have hay, they can go into GI Stasis which can be fatal if not treated ASAP. Hay also keeps rabbits teeth filed down which Is super important because you don’t want your rabbits teeth to be overgrown. Baby bunnies need alfalfa hay. When they turn 6 months, you can start mixing in a different type of grass hay like timothy, orchard or meadow. My bunnies are currently fed Western Timothy Hay. It’s probably one of the more popular bays But, if you struggle with allergies, you should try Meadow! Without hay, your rabbit will probably end up unhealthy and it won’t end well. You can find hay at your local feed stores, pet stores, etc! If you cannot provide your rabbit with the right amount of hay, you probably shouldnt get one!
